7^th grade syllabus

The 7^th grade curriculum consists of 6 units. The units, as well as their essential question, are listed below. 

Unit 1: School – What do students around the world do on a normal school day?

Unit 2: Family and Friends –Who am I? What makes families unique?

Unit 3: Health and Nutrition – Am I healthy?

Unit 4: Childhood and adolescence – How do I spend my free time?  

Unit 5: House and Home – What makes a house a home?

Unit 6: My Community and Beyond – What is my community like?

8^th grade syllabus

The 8^th grade curriculum is a continuation 7^th grade, consisting of 6 units. The units, as well as their essential question, are listed below. 

Unit 7: School – What makes schools different around the world?

Unit 8: Family and Friends –What does family look like around the world?

Unit 9: Health and Nutrition – How does diet affect my life?

Unit 10: Clothing and Shopping – How does clothing tell my story?  

Unit 11: House and Home – What are my choices in dwelling and do they impact the environment?

Unit 12: My Community and Beyond – How do I prepare for an international trip?
